Coordinates and provides project management support through, monitoring, data collection and analysis as needed for projects within department. Collaborates and coordinates with VNSNY CHOICE staff to ensure QI related projects are designed and implemented within required timeframes. Coordinates, plans, organizes and assists in the management of the day-to-day operations and administrative matters to support the goals and objectives of the Department/Program and Agency. Position will supports the VNSNY CHOICE SelectHealth product, an HIV Special Needs Plan.
Education: High School Diploma or the equivalent required. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or other related field, or the equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years experience in field work and community outreach required. Background in community health worker/peer navigation program development, evaluation and management preferred. One year prior project management experience preferred. Advanced personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel required. Effective oral, written communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment required. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment interacting with all levels of staff required. Ability to work autonomously, ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks independently with minimal supervision is required. Must be able to navigate the city by mass transportation; position involves field visits (walk-ups included).
